Our fabulous Area Organiser, Jane Mackenzie has arranged a very special event to ‘welcome in’ the Yorkshire 2026 Sportability Season – Tenpin bowling and lunch!

Where:

Tenpin Castleford, Xscape, Colorado Way, Castleford WF10 4TA

When:

Tuesday 3rd February 2026 – Arrival : 10:30 AM

What:

Five tenpin bowling ranges for 2 games – Free of charge for our members.

Then it’s on to Nandos (in the same complex) for 1.00 PM – although we’ve made the booking you will be purchasing your own lunch and we can do this through the app on the day.

I understand many of you may be accompanied by carers, friends or partners. Sadly we can only fund bowling for our members but I have been assured that there should be spare lanes available should they wish to bowl, at a cost of £7.25 per person.

Carers, friends and partners are also welcome to join us for lunch but again this will be self funded.

Please let us know if you will be accompanied and if your companion wishes to take part in the bowling, lunch only, or both?
