The perception of speed is enhanced the nearer you are to the ground, but that apart this is a speed sport. Hurtling along an airfield runway, or a hard packed beach is a buzz you will not forget in a hurry. There’s a steep learning curve and some obvious safety factors, but you’ll be surprised at how quickly you can manage these weird looking craft and harness the wind for your exhilaration.

One of the best places in the U.K. for BloKart Sailing is at Weston-Super-Mare, on the wide fast beach. However most of our activity takes place at the Aston Down airfield near Stroud in Gloucestershire. We will be offering some dates towards the end of the summer, please see the diary page and news items for details.

This summer as well as BloKart Sailing in the Cotswolds, we have arranged with the British Land Speedsail Association (BLSA) to participate in their ‘Taster’ Days at Bovingdon (Bovington Airfield, Upper Bourne End Lane, Bourne End, Hertfordshire, HP1 2RR), and Dunsfold (Dunsfold Park Airfield, Cranleigh, Surrey, GU6 8TB).
