Quad Biking Twinned with Archery
Wednesday 20th November 2024
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Friends, Amis, Amigos, Amici,
We are delighted to announce one of our most popular combo events – Quad Biking & Archery with Phil and the team at Outdoor Pursuits UK, Wormdale Farm, Wormdale Hill, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME9 7PX on Wednesday 20th November 2024.
BOOK NOW!
We’ll meet around 11.30am with coffee and a briefing and then kit up for the quad-biking session. This will be a gentle circuit in the fields adjoining. Please note: absolute beginners or never-evers all welcomed!
SOMETHING NEW DIFFERENT AND EXCITING. For those that have ridden quad bikes with us before and are both confident and competent we have an additional feature: A woodland ramble in convoy.
For safety reasons it will of course be up to the OP instructors to determine the participants, but we’re delighted to be able to offer this added attraction.
A short break for one of Phil’s famous lunches and then it’s on with the archery.
For this there is a selection of bows from ultra lightweight to competition, and whether you shoot seated, supported-standing or free-standing you will soon start hitting the targets like a pro!
Don’t worry if you have never seen a quad bike or even held a bow in your hand before, just be ready to be amazed at what you can achieve. Outdoor Pursuits UK have fully qualified, friendly instructors on hand to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time.
Tea, coffee, water and indulgent biscuits are available throughout, and the welcome is always warm.
Note: There is an accessible loo at the farm, about a quarter mile from the shooting/archery site. And Portaloos at the sites BUT these are NOT wheelchair accessible.
And remember that with Sportability any one within our remit can participate free of charge.
So just to recap on those details:
