We are delighted to be back for some exciting Indoor Skydiving, with the crew at iFLY World in Basingstoke. They are a really enthusiastic posse of people – who will introduce you to the thrills and excitement of skydiving on Tuesday 3rd December.

Here’s what they say, “Yes, you really can fly! iFLY is where those dreams of flight become a reality. Get ready to be suspended in our column of air which totally reproduces the feeling of free-fall. Super safe, super fun and super cool!”

Event Details:

iFLY operate from a custom-built facility at the Leisure Park in Central Basingstoke, less than 20 minutes from the M3. Pride of place is a 14ft (4.3m) diameter, super-smooth, super-fast and super-cool wind tunnel, which jets you off the floor and suspends you airborne. It is literally a ‘blast’.

We’ve agreed some taster flights for our people. You might only be flying for a few minutes, but it will make you feel sky high.

That’s what we call an Experience!

Flying suits and helmets will be provided and there are no particular dress requirements, except trainers or soft laced up shoes are the necessary footwear; and anyone with long hair should have the means to tie it back.

We will meet promptly at 11.30 am.

The centre is fully wheelchair accessible and there is a lift to the flying floor. Access to the waiting room is also wheelchair accessible BUT the entrance to the wind tunnel is narrow. Don’t worry! Assistance will be on hand for those that need it.

And when booking please provide the following information which helps with the smooth running of the event. Are you in a wheelchair? Can you weight bear through the legs and do a standing transfer?

Important Notice: The following conditions are advised by iFLY and apply to all participants. Persons flying should never have had a dislocated shoulder, and not suffer with epilepsy. There is a weight limit of maximum 18 stone (114kg).

The sport will be restricted solely to people within our remit i.e., with some form of paralysis.
