The wonderful team at Ladybower Fisheries are waiting to welcome us to this fabulous experience on Wednesday 6th May 2026 in the heart of the Peak District.

The Ladybower Reservoir is set against the breath-taking backdrop of the Peak District National Park and Ladybower Fisheries offers one of the UK’s most iconic fly fishing experiences. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or new to the sport, our crystal-clear waters and thriving fish stock—featuring hard-fighting Rainbow, Blue, and wild Brown trout. With over 13 miles of accessible bank, and a fleet of fully powered boats there’s a fishing style to suit everyone.

The Ladybower Angling Trust Lead Coaches will explain how to enjoy fly-fishing in a relaxed picturesque environment. They have the insight, skill and understanding of how to teach anglers of all abilities.

There are accessible loos and changing rooms. Tea and coffee making facilities are also available. Bring a packed lunch or the Yorkshire Bridge Inn is only five minutes away.

Parking: Please stop in the Lady Bower Fisheries car park or on the road right beside it and wait for a staff member to come along and open the gate so you can park next to the lake. DO NOT PARK AT HEATHER DEAN.
