A Fantastic Shooting Experience!
Tuesday 18th June at Riseley, near Bedford

We are delighted to announce another fabulous shooting event at one of the UK’s finest clay shooting grounds – Sporting Targets. Set in over 40 acres of rolling countryside at Riseley in Bedfordshire, this is one of the largest and most varied shooting clubs in the country. John Hartog and his enthusiastic team will be waiting to welcome us for a ‘taster’ session of clay shooting, with a variety of guns and targets.

The plan is: an arrival time of 11.30 am for a meet and greet; with a start time of 12.00 pm.

Don’t worry if you have never held a gun in your hands before, with two dedicated instructors on hand, you’ll be amazed at what you might achieve. It is always a day of fun and discovery. It’s not about being an expert – absolute beginners or never-evers all welcomed.

We have the option of two ranges, and John has selected ranges that are readily accessible to the Clubhouse. The first is fully in the open-air, but he has a plan B in the event of rain. There is a second range nearby with a bespoke structure that is open on all sides, which means you can shoot under cover, in the dry! Whatever the weather, please ensure you dress warmly in dry comfortable clothing.

The Reception and Clubhouse is fully accessible, with a cosy cafe, (where drinks, sandwiches and hot food are available) and w/c accessible loo. And, there are plenty of parking spaces for us right beside the entrance!
