We are delighted to announce that Alan, who is the Head Coach at Bournemouth Archery Club and a GB Paralympic Archer, has invited us to a fantastic archery event in the INDOOR SHOOTING RANGE at Chapel Gate Sports Complex.

When:

SATURDAY 28TH FEBRUARY

We will arrive at 10:00am for the meet & greet with tea/coffee provided. You will be Introduced to the fully qualified Coaches, who will chat through the session ahead and safety on the shooting range.

Next, we move to the shooting range where you will be assessed by the coaching team and shooting equipment suitable for each participant will be provided. When booking please let us know if you wish to be seated or standing for the event.

Then it’s on to the session with a demonstration of shooting an Olympic Recurve Bow by one of the coaches, all of whom are Archery licenced coaches. They will explain the technique, shooting signal and safety calls before you take your places on the shooting line, with your coach and begin shooting.

There will be a refreshment break with tea/coffee after about 1 hour before you restart shooting with a friendly competition scoring session and the event will finish at approximately 1pm.

The INDOOR SHOOTING RANGE is in the grounds of Bournemouth University sports campus to the side of the main building and there is is large car park.
