A Fabulous Rifle Shooting Event!
Saturday 4th May in Dorset and Hants

We are delighted to announce the May 2024 date with the Hurn Rifle & Pistol Club who have invited Sportability for a very special afternoon of shooting at their range in Hurn, Christchurch on Saturday 4th May.

This event will consist of shooting various .22 rim rifles with next to zero recoil.

The plan is to meet at 1.30pm for a prompt 2.00pm start, ending at around 4.00 pm ish.

The range is 25 meters, and the Club is affiliated to the National Small Bore Rifle Associate (NSRA) as well as the National Rifle Association (NRA) and run to the highest safety standards.  All safety equipment will be supplied on the day.

Don’t worry if you have never held a gun or a pistol in your hands before, you’ll be amazed at what you might achieve. It is always a day of fun and discovery. It’s not about being an expert – absolute beginners or never-evers all welcomed.

Hurn are also making available to us their fully accessible club house and providing us with tea or coffee, throughout the afternoon but you will need to bring your own lunch.
