A Fabulous Multi-Sports Day at Adventure Sport Warwick
Quad-biking & Clay Pigeon Shooting
Thursday 17th October 2019
We are pleased to announce our October 2019 date for a great three-sport day with Matt and the crew at Adventure Sport, some 20 miles south of Birmingham, near Warwick.
We’ll meet around 10.30 am for complimentary tea and coffee with a planned 11.00 am start. There will be a full safety briefing, then kit up for the quad-biking session. This will be a gentle circuit in the fields adjoining. This is 1-on-1 instruction to determine the skill and ability levels. But please note: Absolute beginners or never-evers all welcomed!
For those that have ridden quad bikes with us before and are both confident and competent we have an additional feature: A woodland ramble in convoy – they have around 100 acres of challenging countryside incorporating slopes, mud, grassland and picturesque woodland. For safety reasons it will of course be up to the Adventure Sport instructors to determine the participants, but we’re delighted to be able to offer this added attraction.
A short break and we’ll adjourn to the shooting range for a session with the shotguns. Again the AS instructors will be on hand to help, guide and re-assure. Remember: Complete beginners or ‘never evers’ are as welcome as those who have shot before.
So we have a total of two activities: quad-biking and clay pigeon shooting. But you are under no pressure to take part in every event. Although you might surprise yourself and be tempted. And you’ll be amazed at what you might achieve. It is always a day of fun and discovery.
Arrive – ‘meet and greet’ – at 10.30; QUADBIKING 11.00 am to 1.00 pm; SHOOTING 1.30pm to 2.30pm
Please note: These times may vary at the discretion of the instructors.
Just beyond the main office building there is a delightful log cabin cafeteria. Our car parking is in the adjoining area – so easy access. We’ll meet in the cafe, or if the weather is fine on the suntrap terrace. Note: There are accessible loos in this building.
