Fabulous Air Rifle & Small Bore Rifle Shooting!

We have a ‘not to be missed’ shooting event at the famous Bisley Shooting Ground this March.

We will be using their fabulous, covered fully accessible range for this event which will consist of a session of Air Rifle Shooting and another of Small-Bore Rifle Shooting.

The Event:  You will have a chance to use both a .22 small bore rifle and air rifle, shooting with low recall cartridges.  There is also a choice of, at least, two different ranges (50 and 10 metres) and the Bisley instructors will be there making sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable shoot.

The plan is to meet at 12.00pm for a prompt 12.30pm start ending around 3.00pm.

Don’t worry if you have never held a gun in your hands before, you’ll be amazed at what you might achieve. It is always a day of fun and discovery. It’s not about being an expert – absolute beginners or never-evers all welcomed.

The fantastic purpose built facilities includes fully equipped accessible toilets. And, they very kindly keep plenty of parking spaces for us right beside the entrance!

On arrival you will need to supply your full name, home address, date & place of birth, and confirm you have not served a prison sentence in the last year – this is a Home Office requirement.

Covid Precautions

Bisley have advised the following: No one should travel if they feel unwell.  There are hand sanitiser stations available around the centre and please ensue your bring a face mask and follow the signage regarding their use.  Also, everyone should check in on the QR code track and trace app on arrival or ensure you give the staff contact details.

As you will appreciate, there is no absolute guarantee of non-infection and we would accordingly ask you to please ensure that you carefully assess the risk in respect of your own personal condition before deciding whether or not to participate.
