IMPORTANT COVID NOTICE
Covid-19 procedures require that you are able to transfer yourself on and off the quadbike, unaided. Or to have a nominee (personal assistant, etc) being a member of your family/bubble from whom you are not required to isolate, who, alone, will be able to help you. Unfortunately, under the present situation there can be no close handling by any other person, including Bristol Activity Centre support staff.
Covid precautions: Bristol Activity Centre have in place a system of: pre-sanitised gloves and helmets; social distancing; limited group sizes etc., Sanitiser is available to their customers at all times. They will also carry out a temperature check upon arrival and ask that masks be worn(if not exempt) indoors. They recommend old clothing. They are working with the general public on those terms.
These are of course precautions intended to minimise the risk of the transmissions of Covid-19 that Bristol Activity Centre has put in place in order to comply with their obligations under government directives. However, as you will appreciate, there is no absolute guarantee of non-infection and we would accordingly ask you to please ensure that you carefully assess the risk in respect of your own personal condition before deciding whether or not to participate.
The Event: We’ll meet at 11.30am for the welcome, briefing and kit up for our quad-biking session. There’ll be a gentle circuit for everyone to get familiar with the equipment. So please note : absolute beginners or never-evers all welcomed!
SOMETHING NEW DIFFERENT AND EXCITING. It’s off onto the Quad Bike Trekking course with everything to deliver an exhilarating quad experience. You will be taken off and around the main quad trek where you’ll hone your skills at controlling your bike on various terrains.
For those with more advanced capabilities the track extends with additional routes which will put your skills further to the test.
So, remember the trek is suitable for the complete novice who has never driven a quad before, right up to those with experience. You take the trek at your pace and it’s all tailored to your skill.
For safety reasons it will of course be up to the instructors to determine the actual route and the hazards you’ll conquer, but it will be
And don’t worry if you have never seen a quad bike before -just be ready to be amazed at what you can achieve. The Bristol Activity Centre have fully qualified, friendly instructors on hand to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time.
Note: There are loos at the site BUT these are NOT wheelchair accessible. However, you’ll find fully accessible toilets in all five toilet blocks of The Mall at Cribbs Causeway. And there are 300 disabled parking spaces with easy access to all levels.
And remember that with Sportability anyone within our remit can participate free of charge.
