Twin Event in our Bristol & Glos Region
Friday 28th June 2019
We are delighted to announce one of our most popular combo events – Quad Biking & Clay Pigeon Shooting in Bristol & Glos Region. We will be at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol where the team at the Bristol Activity Centre will welcome us to their spectacular urban set-up in South Gloucestershire on Friday 28th June 2019.
We’ll meet around 10.30 am for the welcome and we will start with Clay-Pigeon Shooting at 11.00 am. BAC have undercover shooting huts on a range of tailored clay-pigeon shooting stands. The experienced instructors will be on hand to assist and guide you throughout. And they will have a choice of guns for your use. So, whether you shoot seated, supported-standing or free-standing you will soon start hitting the Clays like a pro!
It is always a day of fun and discovery. It is not about being an expert – absolute beginners or never-evers all welcomed.
Following on from this will be the briefing and kit-up for the quad-biking session. There’ll be a gentle circuit for everyone to get familiar with the equipment. So, please note: again, absolute beginners or never-evers all welcomed!
SOMETHING NEW DIFFERENT AND EXCITING. It’s off onto the Quad Bike Trekking course, with everything to deliver an exhilarating quad experience. You will be taken off and around the main quad trek where you’ll hone your skills at controlling your bike on various terrains.
For those with more advanced capabilities, the track extends with additional routes which will put your skills further to the test.
So remember, the trek is suitable for the complete novice who has never driven a quad before, right up to those with experience. You take the trek at your pace and it’s all tailored to your skill.
For safety reasons, it will of course be up to the instructors to determine the actual route and the hazards you’ll conquer, but it will be fun.
And, don’t worry if you have never seen a quad bike or held a gun in your hand before, just be ready to be amazed at what you can achieve. Bristol Activity Centre have fully qualified, friendly instructors on hand to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time.
Note: There are loos at the site but these are NOT wheelchair accessible. However, you’ll find fully accessible toilets in all five toilet blocks of The Mall at Cribbs Causeway and there are 300 disabled parking spaces with easy access to all levels.
And remember that with Sportability anyone within our remit can participate free of charge.
