Brand New Off-Road Driving Experience
Tuesday 15th May 2018
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We are really excited to announce a Brand New Event – Off-Road Driving at Reaseheath College on the outskirts of Nantwich in Cheshire. The Speed of Sight team will be there to welcome us on 15th May 2018.
We’ll be there from 9.30 am to 4 pm, and you will be given your arrival time when your booking is confirmed. Please let us know your preference for morning or afternoon when requesting a place.
On arrival, after the briefing and kit up, you will be taken to your buggy for an experience like no other. Speed of Sight have custom-made, adapted, duel control cars and their skilled instructors will soon have you experiencing the thrills and exhilaration Off-Road Driving. There’ll be a gentle circuit for everyone to get familiar with the equipment. So please note : absolute beginners or never-evers all welcomed!
You will then be taken into the woods where you’ll hone your skills at controlling your vehicle on various terrains. For those with more advanced capabilities there could be additional routes which will put your skills further to the test.
So, remember this experience is suitable for the complete novice, right up to those with experience. You take the trek at your pace and it’s all tailored to your skill.
For safety reasons it will of course be up to the instructors to determine the actual route and the hazards you’ll conquer, but it will be fun!
And don’t worry if you have never seen or driven an off-roader before – just be ready to be amazed at what you can achieve. Speed of Sight have fully qualified, friendly instructors who will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time.
There is an accessible toilet a few moments from the Speed of Sight gazebo, where you will meet Jane Mackenzie, our Area Organiser, and there is a cafe serving beverages and food or you can bring your own.
Please note: You will need to bring gloves and overalls, along with a change of clothes – especially spare shoes and socks – as you will get wet and muddy! You should also make sure that you wear closed shoes, like trainers, and that you don’t mind getting these and your outer clothing dirty.
And remember that with Sportability anyone within our remit can participate free of charge.
So just to recap on those details:
