A Fabulous Twin -Sports Day at Adventure Sport Warwick
Archery and Quad-biking
Thursday 4th July 2024
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We are pleased to announce our July 2024 date for a great afternoon of archery and quad-biking with the crew at Adventure Sport, some 20 miles south of Birmingham, near Warwick.
We’ll meet at 10.00 am for complimentary tea and coffee with a planned 10.30 am start.
First up will be the Archery with expert tuition and guidance throughout from the team. There is a selection of bows from ultra lightweight to competition, and whether you shoot seated, supported-standing or free-standing you will soon start hitting the targets like a pro!
Then after a full safety briefing we will kit up for the quad-biking session. This will be a gentle circuit in the fields adjoining. This is 1-on-1 instruction to determine the skill and ability levels. But please note: Absolute beginners or never-evers all welcomed!
For those that have ridden quad bikes with us before and are both confident and competent we have an additional feature: A woodland ramble in convoy – they have around 100 acres of challenging countryside incorporating slopes, mud, grassland and picturesque woodland. For safety reasons it will of course be up to the Adventure Sport instructors to determine the participants, but we’re delighted to be able to offer this added attraction.
Don’t worry if you have never seen a quad bike or even held a bow in your hand before, just be ready to be amazed at what you can achieve. Adventure Sports have fully qualified, friendly instructors on hand to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time.
Surprise yourself and be tempted. You’ll be amazed at what you might achieve. It is always a day of fun and discovery.
Timetable:
Arrive – ‘meet and greet’ – at 10.00 for a 10.30 am Start
Just beyond the main office building there is a delightful log cabin cafeteria with Terrace. Car parking is in the adjoining area – so easy access. We’ll meet on the terrace. Note: There are accessible loos in this building.
