Quadbiking, Clay pigeon shooting & Sailing.

East Anglia Set Up

Central to our activities in the region is the Suffolk Moto Park. Owner, Joe Ramsey, has been a great friend and promoter of Sportability from our first meeting. It’s here that Joe hosts the quad biking and clay pigeon shooting. Being an outdoor adventure centre it is rough and rugged, and unfortunately does not have accessible loos.

Sailing takes place in collaboration with our friends at the Woolverstone Project. This is a registered charity that operates out of both Woolverstone Marina and at Alton Water on the Shotley Peninsula, just outside of Ipswich. At Alton Water, the project has five 2.3m Access class boats and two 3.03m Access boats, as well as two Challenger tri-marans. These are all craft that have been designed for ease of use by disabled sailors. More importantly all the crew have a great can do attitude that gets even our most apprehensive novices out of their wheelchairs and onto water.

The centre has a cafeteria and accessible loos.

For further information on all these activities and if you would like your name added to our mailing list, please call us on 020 8959 0089 or email us at info@sportability.org.uk

We hope to hear from you soon.
