Landyachting

The perception of speed is enhanced the nearer you are to the ground, but that apart this is a speed sport. Hurtling along an airfield runway, or a hard packed beach is a buzz you will not forget in a hurry. There's a steep learning curve and some obvious safety factors, but you'll be surprised at how quickly you can manage these weird looking craft and harness the wind for your exhilaration.

One of the best places in the U.K. for land-yachting is at Weston-Super-Mare, on the wide fast beach. We will again be offering some try-drive dates towards the end of the summer, please see the diary page for details.
