Multi-Sports Event for East Midlands
Quadbiking, Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting & Archery
Sunday 15th May 2016
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We are delighted to announce our May date for this Exciting Multi-Sports Event. Dont Miss Out – Book Now!
The three sports on offer are: Quad-biking; Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting; and Archery. The Laser Clay Shooting involves using much lighter rifles than the standard clay shooting rifles and a key benefit is that there is virtually no recoil.
The event takes place at the Langar Kart and Quad Centre, approximately 10 mins from Nottingham City Centre.
We’ll meet at 1.00pm for a 1.30pm start. Chris and the team will ‘meet & greet’ at the main entrance for easy access to all the activities.
There will be a full safety briefing, then kit up for the quad-biking session. This will be a gentle circuit in the area adjoining. This is 1-on-1 instruction to determine the skill and ability levels. But please note : Absolute beginners or never-evers all welcomed!
For those that have ridden quad bikes with us before and are both confident and competent we have an additional feature: A woodland ramble in convoy. For safety reasons it will of course be up to the Langar instructors to determine the participants, but we’re delighted to be able to offer this added attraction.
Then it’s on to the archery, and again experienced and helpful instructors will take you through the basics to ensure that you get the best out of the moment.
A short break and we’ll adjourn to the laser clay shooting range. Again the Langar posse will be on hand to help, guide and instruct.
So we have a total of three events : quad-biking, lasers clays and archery. But you are under no pressure to take part in every event. Although you might surprise yourself and be tempted – You’ll be amazed at what you might achieve. It is always a day of fun and discovery.
The order of events may vary at the discretion of the instructors.
And remember that with Sportability anyone within our remit can participate free of charge.
General directions and map can be found by visiting www.LKQC.com.
But we can advise you that the venue is 6 miles from the A46 exit. When you leave the A46 go onto the Nottingham Road, then onto Fern Road, then to Cropwell Road to the T-junction. Turn right at T- junction and proceed pass the John Deer Tractor Factory then pass the airfield entrance proceed onto the next sign for ‘Karting’ on the left hand side.
In the main Karting Centre there is a cafeteria. Here they serve hot and cold beverages and food. Our car parking is in the adjoining area – so easy access.
Please note that there are loos on site which may be accessible for some wheelchairs but with difficulty (no grab rails) so please be prepared.
So please put this date in your diary:-
